Is there some NCAA rule or other legal issue against a post game auction of “game gear” (gloves, towels, cleats, ext…) to benefit an NIL group? I know players often give these items to fans, family or friends but wondering if they could be autographed & auctioned as part of a NIL deal. I think I remember there being an issue using licensed NCAA gear or merchandise in NIL but to me these types of things are more closely related to a players Name, Image & Likeness than just a big check from some booster or group.
