Back when Gabe started to do his podcast with Tucker and Maggie on the KCSN, they brought in Coach CY before the season started. He mentioned how they were going to make a living in that 50-125 range when recruiting, and "hit a homerun" (5-star) every other class or so (he may have not used those exact words), as a program like Mizzou needs to stack players like that who will be 3-4 year great college players. As we can see, they have done just that with Pierce, Robinson, Butler, Barrett. I was curious to see what players were in that 50-125 4-star range, so I went back and looked at who was in there during the 2019-2021 recruiting cycles. In the end, it is pretty evident that there were a ton of pretty darn good college players there who are/were at their schools for 3-4 years +.

2019 - Lester Quinones, De’Vion Harmon, James Bouknight, Kofe Cockburn, Drew Timme, Justin Moore, EJ Liddell, Max Agbonkpolo, Oumar Ballo, Quincy Guerrier, Eric Dixon, Malik Hall, Santi Vescovi, Kaden Shedrick, Jalen Bridges, Isaiah Wong, RaeQuan Battle, Makhi Mitchell, Jaime Jacquez, Dajuan Harris, Tre Mitchell, Zach Freemantle, Jaylin Williams, Avery Anderson, Tyrese Samuel, Patrick McCaffery

2020 - Andre Jackson, Hunter Dickinson, Benedict Mathurin, Jaemyn Brakefield, JT Thor, Azuolas Tubelis, RJ Davis, Andre Curbelo, Cliff Omoruyi, Alex Fudge, Matthew Moncreiffe, Kerr Krisa, Reece Beekman, PJ Hall, Cam Hayes, Reese Dixon-Waters, Julian Strawther, Jaylen Clark, Cam Fletcher, Dominick Harris, O-Max Prosper, Kadary Richmond, Tramon Mark, Hassan Diarra, Jaden Ivey, AJ Hoggard, Jaylin Williams, Adama Sanogo, Dain Dainja, Ryan Kalkbrenner, KD Johnson, LJ Cryer, Shaq Moore, Colby Jones

2021 - Jeremy Sochan, Daron Holmes, Jordan Hawkins, Jahmai Mashak, Jaden Akins, Ryan Nembhard, Brandin Podziemski, Terquavion Smith, KJ Adams, Devin Carter, Trey Alexander, Brandon Murray, Tucker DeVries, Kam Jones, Chucky Hepburn, Wade Taylor, Blake Wesley, Alex Karaban, Wooga Poplar, RJ Melendez, Sean Pedulla

2022 (more notable names will be made after the upcoming season) - Jayden Epps, Riley Kugel, Judah Mintz, Aidan Shaw, Donovan Clingan, Felix Okpara, Taylor Hendricks, Brice Sensabaugh, Noah Clowney, Fletcher Loyer

I love where Gates and co. have their recruiting efforts right now. Keep stacking these classes and reloading on the portal every cycle and there is no reason we can't be a perennial top-25 team.
