BASKETBALL Grad transfer question

I'll include this in the mailbag, but wanted to address it here as I've been asked about it a couple times

Any truth to the rumor that in men's basketball we're not able to take a grad transfer this year?

I know we were told that we got a one year penalty due to a prior transfer not making enough academic progress, but there's been talk on other sites that this also applied to this coming season.

This is not true. I asked again two weeks ago and was told that Missouri was able to take a grad transfer in this recruiting class.
