COLUMBIA, Mo. - The No. 11 University of Missouri gymnastics erupted for the second highest regional score in program history with a 197.150 in the NCAA Regional Second Round to advance to tomorrow's NCAA Raleigh Regional Final. The Tigers won the day session, followed by Iowa in second with a 196.900, LSU in third with a 196.575 and N.C. State in fourth with a 195.700
As the top two finishers in the day session, Mizzou and Iowa advance to face No. 3 Michigan and No. 14 UCLA the top two finishers in the evening session, in the regional final at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday. The top two teams from the regional final will advance to the national championships.
During the meet, the Tigers set program regional score records, on beam and floor. Additionally, Helen Hu set a regional program-high on beam with a 9.975. Sienna Schreiber anchored the beam lineup and set a new program regional record with a 9.975.

- In the first rotation, Sydney Schaffer sat in the leadoff position scoring a 9.75. Hannah McCrary notched a 9.75, while Schreiber notched a 9.85. Both Grace Anne Davis and Amari Celestine tallied a 9.825. Jocelyn Moore notched the team high 9.9 in the anchor position. Mizzou tallied a team total of 49.150 on vault.
- On Bars, Amaya Marshall started off strong for Mizzou scoring a 9.875. Celestine and Alisa Sheremeta both notched a 8.00. Hu and Hollyn Patrick both earned a 9.85. The Tigers earned a 49.175 on bars.
- The Tigers set a new regional program-high on beam with a 49.450. Both Hu and Schreiber set back-to-back individual regional program highs. Marshall started off the Tigers with a 9.85. McCrary kept the scoring going with an 9.875, while Schaffer notched a 9.800.
- In the final rotation Schreiber carried the momentum over from beam scoring a 9.85, Schaffer also notched a 9.85. Sheremeta notched a 9.875. Both McCrary and Moore notched team-high 9.90s. Mizzou earned a regional program-high of 39.375.
