* After a sloppy start, that was some of the best offense we have seen from Missouri this season. First of all, it continues to amaze me how a team (and particularly one that can't shoot), can be so much better against a zone defense than against man. But the bigger difference was the shot selection. The team clearly got Cuonzo Martin's message about not settling. Missouri attacked the basket early and often, and that opened up everything else. The Tigers attempted eight threes and made five. They scored 24 points in the paint. That's what this offense should look like every night.

* We got the good version of Kobe Brown tonight. That helped, too. Brown has nine points on 4-5 shooting. He's also dished five assists. He's been initiating the offense quite a bit. When he plays like this, Missouri is exponentially better.

* The Tigers have done a nice job of turning defense into offense. They've forced eight turnovers and turned those into 12 points. Javon Pickett just has a knack for getting behind the defense. That's something we expected to see more of this season. It really helps Mizzou's generally struggling. offense to get some easy points in transition.

* The one thing Ole Miss has going for it is Matthew Murrell. He has 12 points. No other Rebel has more than five. Missouri needs to do a better job of staying in front of him. The good news is that the Tigers have done a very nice job defending Jarkell Joiner. Joiner put up 33 on Alabama Wednesday and has just two points so far tonight.

* Time to listen to Brad Loos speak. The Rally for Rhyan game is always awesome. Hope everyone considers donating if they can.
