This team has a four minute stretch before the half that just kills them. It happened at Iowa State, it happened against Kansas State and they gave up a 16-4 run after leading 28-26 at the final media timeout tonight.
I'm searching for what this team does well. I honestly don't really know. They're not particularly awful at any one thing (except maybe turning the ball over) but they're not good at anything either.
I don't know how a guy Jeremiah Tilmon's size plays 14 minutes of a basketball game and doesn't get a single rebound.
Missouri is not going to beat anyone if it gives up 84 points (which Temple is on pace for).
I like Javon Pickett's defense. I can see why Cuonzo really likes him.
Temple looks a lot more athletic.
If there's a guy I think can make this team better it's Torrence Watson. He really hasn't been very good in the first four and a half games, but I think the potential is there if he settles in and gets some confidence.
Ugly half honestly. This is an okay Temple team...but not a great one. They're picked sixth in their league. UCF, which comes to town Sunday, is picked first. The Tigers need to find a way to split these two...and right now it doesn't look good.
