I feel like we just watch reruns every week. I really do think Eli Drinkwitz goes into games and wants to attack and open it up. And then at some point he realizes his offense just isn't capable of doing it so he falls back on running the ball, being super conservative and asking his defense to win the game. I don't think he wants to do it or plans to do it. Then he's forced to.

Brady Cook missed two deep shots to Luther Burden in the opening few minutes and that set the tone. The first one was underthrown. On the second one, he MIGHT have gotten his arm hit as he threw, I'm not sure. Either way it was incompete. Cook is 7/10 for 67 yards. That's...not good enough.

Cody Schrader and Nathaniel Peat have combined for 80 yards on 18 carries which is good, not great.

The offensive line hasn't been awful but it definitely hasn't been good enough. MTSU has three sacks and 5 TFL.

Missouri defense has been very very good. Missouri is asking it to be perfect. That's simply not fair. You can't ask for perfection.

At least Harrison Mevis made both his kicks.

I'm very interested to see if we see Sam Horn at all. Drinkwitz said he was going to play. Does he trust hhim enough to put him in a close game? If he puts him in a close game does he risk creating a quarterback controversy he just ended?

First two drives of the second half are huge. If Missouri gets a stop and a touchdown, it could create enough distance that it wins even if it might not be as comfortably as you want it to. If not, buckle up.
