I'm not going to be overly critical of a nine-point lead. There haven't been many.
Drew Lock has been as good as I've seen him this year. He's 12-21 for 150 yards, but has had two perfect passes (including a 75 yard TD) dropped.
Damarea Crockett is the best player on this team and I'm not sure it's all that close. He is averaging 10 yards per carry. On all other offensive plays, Missouri is averaging six yards.
Defense has been pretty good. Not great, but pretty good.
The difference in this game is the turnovers. Those have resulted directly in 13 points for Missouri. Vandy has outgained and really outplayed Missouri except for those two passes and the fourth down failure.
The Dimetrios Mason drop when it was 19-7 is the turning point of this game IF Vandy makes a game and/or wins. If not, we'll forget about it.
Here's my question: If Missouri is down 20-19 with five seconds left at the Vandy 15 yard line, what do you do? What I wouldn't do is kick.
