I grew up near and went to HS in Kingdom City...and since Gasper's Restaurant closed...we haven't really had a good place to eat there.
I want to share this place my brother took me to last night before going to Mizzou BB.

They have Happy Hour on Saturday nights an Sundays as well. Great place to watch games, get some drinks, and some great home cooked food (and not just bar food).
Get off at Kingdom City exit and go North on Hwy 54 (past Burger King/Quick shop and take the next right on Old 40 E Bound (just past Thunderbird Drive).
You won't find this place if you don't know where it is...but it's literally 1-2 minutes off I-70.
Three times this Fall my friends and I wanted tp stop at a Sports bar after Mizzou games to catch the end of other late games without battling the CoMo post game traffic and without veering to far off the path homeward.
Now I know where we will stop. BEST Pork Tenderloin sandwhich I have had in years...HUGE and perfectly breaded and seasoned! Also have BBQ and smoked meats, outstanding fried catfish, great appetizers, and drink specials.
Go 2 minutes out of your way...you won't be dissappointed.
