Highlight for me was seeing Laurence Bowers and his daughter walk past us to their seats, then seeing Sophie and Lindsay Cunningham come to sit behind him and then Brad Loos bringing DRF to their seats to meet all three of them. A reminder of better days in Mizzou Arena.
Low light (personal note, don't read if you don't care.) This was most likely the last game at Mizzou Arena for the foreseeable future for our son. After four years of undergrad and four years of graduate school, he will leave CoMO at the end of the semester for a private sector research job a long way from Missouri. As we walked to the car, he reminded me that Mizzou hasn't won an NCAA game since 2010--his junior year in high school. That's a lot of disappointment and it hurts this mom's heart. 12 years of college students who haven't seen their school win an NCAA tournament game.
