I knew there was fallout between him and the McCain's after 2008 and Meghan has taken many cheap shots at Steve over the years but she went way over the line this past weekend and he absolutely napalmed her, John McCain's legacy and how he was unfairly tagged as picking the overmatched Palin. I don't think Schmidt would be posting this info knowingly it is inaccurate. He'd be liable for a ton of $$ and putting at risk a slander case he could bring forth to Meghan McCain.
Fair questions to ask is why Schmidt waited so long to divulge but at least he didn't save it for a juicy advance on a book.
Another question is where the hell has the so-called "librul MSM" been on this because they always want to "nail Republicans"? Certainly someone would have had interest, attained some tidbits of what Schmidt mentioned. But I guess irrelevant Democratic emails or demanding a Democratic laptop with planted information be arrested was more interesting.
