To me, the goal is simple: Be in a game with a chance to win with eight minutes to go. From there, you take your chances. But forget moral victories and such. I've seen bad Mizzou teams beat better teams than Xavier. Upsets happen all the time in college hoops (see Western Michigan currently pushing Nova with five to play). None of this "If they only lose by 12, I'll consider that a sign of improvement." Not me.
