We know that one of the reasons Horn came to Mizzou is because he was going to be given the opportunity to play both football and baseball... and we also know that he is good enough to play in the MiLB for real money right now.
If Horn does not get the starting QB job in 2023, but is the backup and heir apparent. And with the way our Baseball program seems to be producing right now, does he look to transfer to a place he CAN get on the field and also play for a competitive baseball team (and get further development)? Or does he stay put, focusing on football and letting Baseball be his sideshow escape clause should he not make the NFL?
The kid has options with real money attached... will be interesting to see how this plays out. Hopefully either baseball picks up, or he excels in football and that team shows improvement.
