Apparently a bunch of affluent teens in the area tortured a 19yo with autism who thought he was with “friends”. Been down an internet rabbit hole this morning and apparently these little assholes have done similar to this individual 2-3 times. No charges as of yet. All the kids have affluent and influential parents - running the local newspaper, attorneys, etc. This also apparently happened in the same county as Ahmaud Arbery. This happened last Tuesday and is just starting to circulate in news. Of course this hits a little deep for me. If it were my kid - I would just have to say my prayers would be with the parents of these kids. Because I wouldn’t be able to promise that my actions would be moral.
