I posted last week several reasons why I was very excited about Mizzou Football led by Drink. In that post, I assumed an 0-3 start to the season.
After yesterday, my optimism is off the chart.
Folks, we not only have a young HC that can recruit and game coach, we have a HC with incredible leadership abilities.
Aside from being an offensive minded genius, Drink has special executive skills. He has handled COVID issues and social unrest like a true leader. He has brought the team closer rather than allowing these issues largely out of his control to tear the team apart.
We all know a leader when we see one. I can’t imagine there will ever be another season with as many challenges as this one. Drink hasn’t blinked. He’s stared down every challenge and come out the other side stronger than ever.
I believe things are possible for a Drink-led Mizzou Football program that I never truly believed before. Special times ahead for Mizzou fans.
