So I'm trying to get a grasp on this new subscription model to internet news and media. It was actually Gabe on Twitter calling out people who thought everything should be free, that got me to accept that you have to subscribe to the things you want. So I bought a year of PowerMizzou, The Athletic, there's a local comic strip I support, and I'm wanting to get FloWrestling but all this is adding up on top of what I already pay for internet and cable. Is this model really sustainable for every individual news site?
