I don't pretend to have any real knowledge of the current offensive system...just some things that have crossed my mind over the last few games.
It seemed to me that in Heupel's offense that the ball was out of Lock's hands very quickly and there was little time(or requirement) for him to make a read or the defense to apply pressure. Wondering if the system change is asking more of Drew and leading to some of the decision making issues we are seeing this season.
The offensive system under OCDD also seems to involve fewer vertical routes and that might be taking away a facet in which Johnathan Johnson excelled.
