There are over 10 adult store billboards on I-70 next to Columbia coming west from KC, including one beside the Columbia city limits sign. From a Mizzou marketing perspective, this has to negatively impact student recruitment and maybe athlete recruitment. The drive into Columbia on I-70 is the first impression of the university for prospective student families. From a general state perspective, I-70 is the window into Missouri and our window is dirty. Is there any momentum to limit billboard content or if not possible to ban all I-70 billboards?
