I'm officially back from about a 4 day ban. Gabe kinda screwed me over which I'll get to here but no hard feelings. He was just going with his instincts.
Anyways, as many of you know, I have my own sports blog where I post opinion and news pieces on Mizzou and Chiefs that I do as a little side hustle and I've built up a decent following. BTW you can follow me on twitter @ ShowMeFB.
Well, in preparation for Sam Horn committing on Sunday, I had a post ready to go which I was going to share after he committed to give my perspective. I accidentally published it early for a few minutes but you can't really find me on google that easily because of how they rank search results and I hadn't shared it so I have no idea how Gabe found it. I tried to get on power mizzou after he committed to celebrate with everyone only to see my account wasn't working. I messaged Gabe asking what's up and he basically scolded me for "stealing information from his site" in regards to writing my own article on Horn's commitment.
I used a quote in the article where Horn talked about Missouri being his #1 school and thought Gabe was referring to that but that wouldn't make sense because I linked a 247 article behind the text which anyone can read where Horn said the same thing and then Gabe shifted and asked "ok, but how did you actually find out Horn was committing today" basically implying that I stole inside info from PM that was behind a paywall, HOWEVER, Neither Gabe or his employees said anything about Horn committing. All they did was share the coaches' bat signals and then put in a future cast for Horn but neither of those are behind a paywall and me releasing an article early (which was an accident anyways) is really no different than the people who read the board and then run to twitter to tell everyone the same thing. I got hosed!!!
Thank you Gabe for letting me back in, though.
