First of all, Drink had a great game plan last night. Unfortunately, the tone of the game was set when Hazelton couldn’t catch a simple 5 yard pass on the first play of the game.. He proceeded to drop three other passes and Knox dropped what would have been a longTD pass. That’s all on the players.
What I was really pleased with was Drink’s reaction to the fight. In a non-controversial way he made it very clear that Mullen incited the fight. Drink questioned why Florida coaches were on Mizzou side hashmarks. In Drink’s words: “We’ll have to take a look at the video. The video doesn’t lie.”
