some quick notes for you. Appreciate it if you'll keep it here and not go tweeting things:

*Will be shocked if Johnathan Nance doesn't end up at Missouri. Not sure on the timing of an announcement, but there really doesn't even seem to be any competition. Mizzou will see him next week and it's possible that could seal the deal.

*Speaking of receivers Charles Njoku decommitted this morning. He never seemed fully committed so no surprise. I'm hearing he wants to play wide receiver and Missouri wants him at tight end so he's probably going somewhere he can be a wideout.

*As recent articles have indicated, Missouri definitely has a better shot at Kelly Bryant than many are giving them nationally. I'm not going to call them the favorite. There is a cautious optimism from people around the program. The fact is Missouri's the only program Bryant can go to and have two things be true:

1) A team that should be in a bowl game next season

2) The starter the day he starts class

The major competition right now is viewed as Mississippi State and Auburn according to everyone I've talked to. I believe Missouri will see Bryant next week as well as Nance, but I'm not positive on that.

*Also a little bit of bowl info. Missouri would travel best to the Music City Bowl. Everyone knows that. From an attendance standpoint that’s the best game for the Tigers.

However, I’m told those in the program are really hoping/pushing for a Florida bowl, preferably the Outback in Tampa. A big factor in that may be what Mississippi State does tomorrow night. If the Bulldogs beat the Rebels, they’re likely ahead of Mizzou in the pecking order…but if Ole Miss pulls the upset and Missouri can beat Arkansas, the Tigers jump up.

Florida will be in line for a NY6 bowl if the Gators beat Florida State. In that case, Kentucky is headed to the Citrus Bowl and the Gator and Outback will choose two of Missouri/Auburn/Mississippi State. If Florida were to slide out of the NY6, that puts them in the Citrus and puts Kentucky in the mix for the Florida bowls, which would make Nashville much, much more likely for Missouri.

Texas A&M is very likely going to the Texas Bowl and South Carolina to the Belk Bowl. The Vandy/Tennessee winner should slide into the Liberty Bowl.
