For whatever reason we are either unwilling or unable to do what it takes to land high profile recruits stateside. It is what it is.
Someone enlighten me as to why we dont pursue any international talent. I dont really recall any Mizzou coach going down that road besides Quin, but for a school like Mizzou who's never gonna land the big fish, why the hell not?
Gonzaga's basically become a blue blood by doing it. I just watched Aaron Baynes make Portland his bitch, and he went to Washington State. There are countless others.
I guess I'm wondering why we havent pursued this more vigorously. We obviously aren't getting the horses in the U.S. and at this point I think it's just a fundamental problem with our institution's willingness (or lack thereof) to play the game the way it needs to be played. So why not look overseas?
