As the rhetoric continues to fly around, and we all have to choose polar opposite sides, I noticed this black American Veteran who in my opinion totally gets it! I totally support the players first amendment rights, but unfortunately they are missing the bigger point. This wise old veteran understands and sent a strong message to President Trump as he drove by...proper place...proper time...
The problem is the Anthem Protests are angering many who actually agree with the players cause. It is NOT the appropriate time to protest. It has become a Anti-Trump protest which really takes away the bad cop issue the protestors supposedly want to bring attention to. All it is doing with the Anthem Protest is anti Trump vs Pro Trump...which is a total waste of time...
