How many of you don't care about the bowl game or say it's a game that doesn't matter until well, it does.
Fast forward 4 hours and Drink needs to be fired after losing a game that doesn't matter. Hilarious.
I won't pretend there weren't a few coaching decisions to contest every here and there, but that's literally every football game ever.
I actually thought the playcalling was fine. No Tyler Badie, Brady cook Making his first start, no real difference makers at WR. Thought they moved the ball pretty well they just couldn't punch it in a couple times which hurt but they probably do once if Tauskie Dove just cuts upfield.
Defense played alright but both starting DTs were out, entire starting secondary gone, backups were getting hurt.
All things considered there was no shame in losing this game. I also don't understand a lot of you guys saying we lost to a "much less talented team". I mean, with everyone that didn't play we had one maybe two NFL caliber players playing in this game. Army isn't great but pretending that we have this huge leg up on them talent wise isn't necessarily true. We finished 13th in the league in recruiting 4 consecutive years under Odom and Drink's only class is true freshman with a lot of them playing their first real snaps tonight.
The future is still bright. Some of you guys really need to calm down.
