...looks putrid.

  • Tennessee nearly gets taken out by App State. The OL looked average and the passing game is scattershot.
  • UGA's front seven looks like it may take some time to sort itself out. They leaned heavily on the ground game for long stretches. And they're toggling between QBs.
  • Kentucky is in the midst of crapping away a 31-10 lead in its opener against Southern Miss.
  • Florida is in a rock fight with UMass (13-7, at last check), and still looks as if it's being led by a man who hates offense.
  • Vanderbilt and South Carolina both set offensive football back a couple of generations on Thursday, and neither of them has a reliable QB or wide receiver.
  • Mizzou still can't run the football, and it's vaunted defensive line was gashed repeatedly today, while special teams was a relative nightmare.
I still think it's UGA and Tennessee at the top, but you could put the other five teams in a bingo hopper to pick the rest of the order. I still think there are three wins out there on the SEC East portion of the docket. Just feel less certain saying it will be UK, Vandy and Carolina.
