Dear campus community members,
Today, I’m pleased to announced the members of the Advisory Committee for the Director of Athletics search. The committee will assist me in the search process by vetting potential candidates and reviewing applications.
Members of the committee include:
n Darryl Chatman (alumni representative)
n Sarah Reesman (Mizzou Athletics)
n Phil Snowden (UM System Board of Curators)
n Don Walsworth (alumni representative)
n Christina Wells (Faculty Athletics Representative)
Brian Millner, interim chief of staff, will provide staff support for the committee.
The committee and I will work with Todd Turner of Collegiate Sports Associates, a national executive search and consulting firm.
The University of Missouri has a history of high-caliber athletic directors, and we are confident that we will be able to attract another outstanding candidate to lead our athletic program into the future. As a member of the SEC, we have an exceptionally bright future and are very proud of the accomplishments of our student-athletes. We will be working hard to find the best leader as soon as possible.
