Look, I share many of the concerns of others on this board. Last night wasn’t always pretty. Many of us wanted to see much more than a Tigers victory, myself included. I wanted QB2, I’ll call him that now as I think it is obvious that’s what our coach considers him, to walk on water, seal up the Heisman, win a Super Bowl while sacking Lawrence ks all at the same time. We didn’t get that, our kicker missed kicks, we let our inferior opponent sustain a long drive in the second half and our coach did what he does with the media. So what! We won damnit! I know this is an oversimplification, but as the Great Coach Gary Pinkel once said “winning is hard.” Perhaps Drink doesn’t deserve it but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and I’m going to enjoy the win. Hood is right, higher ceiling or not, that STL quarterback can win us some games, especially if the defense and o line brings it. MIZ baby!
