Im not standing up for KA but im not gonna knock a great mizzou alum either. But all we hear about is how the bar was set so low with KA. I think the low bar should have been targeted at the AD. Think about this. In 3 years KA made $1.7 million in my estimation With 27 wins that costed us $62k for every win. CM has made $8.4 million in my estimation in 3 years and With 50 wins that puts that at $168k a win. So yes. CM had nearly twice as many wins but it cost us almost 3 times more per win. Does that make him that much better of a coach for the money? CM is the second highest paid MU Head coach ever in any sport. Talk about value KA was the better value. Again. Not defending KA. But if you look at it this way CM had been a bigger disappointment. Theres an old saying you get what you pay for. I think we got what we paid for with KA. I cant say that with CM
