Next month, Mizzou Baseball will begin practicing for its fourth season under the guidance of head coach Steve Bieser, who was the guest at today’s Tiger Club of KC meeting.
In his three seasons at the helm, Bieser’s Tigers have compiled a 104-67-1 record. Last year’s team finished 4th in the East division of the SEC, widely recognized as the toughest baseball conference in America. Five members of the 2019 team were selected in the Major League Draft, including outfielder Kameron Misner and left-handed pitcher TJ Sikkema, who were both selected in the Competitive Balance portion between the first and second rounds of the draft.
First pitch for the Tigers will be Valentine’s Day at Jacksonville State. The home portion of the 2020 schedule begins March 6 with a three-game series against Western Illinois.
