Keyon was one of the speakers at the conference held at the Crossing church in Columbia yesterday, which drew in 1,500 men from around Missouri and neighboring states. Keyon talked about his struggles with PTSD stemming from being sexually abused as a child. His faith in God has helped him work through it.
Keyon still follows the Tigers, loves Cuonzo, and says he just needs more talent to take the team to the top.
NOTE: Keyon has high praise for Norm, his recruiting, and competitiveness. It’s interesting because in Boone County it’s widely believed that Norm’s handling of Keyon & the game in Boulder started a rift between Norm & Bill Laurie that emboldened AD Mike Alden to stand up to Norm, resulting in his retirement. I just always assumed that Keyon hated Norm. While I still believe that original story, I gather that Keyon, at the very least, is over it. Interestingly enough, he didn’t mention Quinn.
