at the end was one of my pet peeves with I'm betting is one of many on this board. Each part of a new year we seem to have these mentioned. The amount of time need for the game. Everyone wants to shorten them. I don't necessarily want to shorten games, but in BB I do seriously want the TV networks to fix this, but not sure how.
I wasn't able to watch the game last night, but I recorded it. When I started the game, there was 20.9 seconds left in the Ole Mizz/GA game. I backed up to that start and timed the amount of time it took to get to our game. 13 minutes and 34 seconds! That under most circumstances is not a long time, but waiting for another game to get on TV at the end of a BB game seems hours at times. When the got to our game, there was 15 minutes and a few seconds left. Our previous women's game had the same problem with only about 1 minutes left in their first half. Which was about the same time as how much was missed in the start of ours last night.
I don't know how that 13.34 would figure in to most close basketball games, but it may not be far off. Especially when we miss about 1/4 of the next game. It does happen on ESPN, in particular, but it happens often and is my pet peeve for the day. 🤣
