says it's been an interesting year, lost five guys from last season including three NBA players. "We knew that the upcoming year would be tremendously challenging for us to continue to keep building on the culture we were trying to establish over the last number of years."

Said the standard has been raised at FSU. A bunch of role players had to step up. "We've been a little inconsistent, but I think we've played some very good basketball at times. Hopefully we have grown some wisdom that this season has given us."

"I don't understand why people are asking me why that's been difficult. We've watched him play for a number of years and he's a tremendously talented youngster.

We don't have it twisted: We know exactly what we're facing."

Said he was amazed at the level of confidence that Porter had in the Georgia game. "He played almost like a veteran, a guy whose maturity level is beyond his years."

"Now you're adding your very best player coming into the season, that gives you an added boost, an added level of confidence."

Said Mizzou looks like some of the ACC teams they played.

"I'm just as equally impressed with the younger brother. To see a 6-11 guy that dribbles and passes and shoots the ball as well as he does is very impressive."

Says he can't be overly concerned about the Porters because there are a lot of other guys that have a lot of talent.

"It's very difficult to try to compare players like that. He's just a tremendous talent."

"More than anything else he's extremely hungry to go out and show the world that he is who they all expect him to be."

"Missouri's not the kind of team that you can give all your attention to one or two players."

Cuonzo said Leonard Hamilton was one of the guys who really helped him when he was first breaking into the profession. Hamilton: "That says that I've been around a long time."

Said he's always tried to be a guy who would be available to younger coaches.

"Anytime a guy of that caliber reaches out, I feel honored that he would even want to talk to me." Said he's gotten a lot of calls from Cuonzo "we've had to have those brother in law conversations."

"I've learned not because I've been smarter than anyone else, but because I've made a lot of mistakes and sometimes mistakes teach you how to not make the same mistakes again."

Said that basketball is becoming more positionless and Jontay is an example of that being a 6-11 guy who plays so much on the perimeter.

"They are special and unique players and they definitely have our full attention."
