We hire Drink from Appalachia State, a division 1 school where he was head coach for ONE year. He won with someone else’s talent and then on to Mizzou. After 4 years here, he has 1 winning season (this year TBD). Two AD’s later, the Board thinks he’s some sort of second coming and raise his pay to $9M. As an offensive guru, he has recruited ZERO starting QB’s in 5 years. He brings in low level coordinators and can’t even keep that staff together. I’d say it’s time to move on, but how much are we going to end up paying a new coach if we’re willing to pay a coach BARELY over .500, $9M?
