The paper that shares a newsroom with my TV station did a feature over the weekend on former Mizzou QB Vic Eaton. He doesn't get talked about much now, but he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 50s -- the same year they also drafted a guy named Johnny Unitas. Eaton beat out Unitas for the backup QB spot, and the Steelers then infamously cut Unitas, which led to his Hall of Fame career with the Colts. How many people here knew that a Mizzou guy beat out Johnny Unitas for a roster spot?
