I have watched him the last two nights and will see him again tonight. There is no doubt he can play at Mizzou’s level.

Last year, I would have said he was solely a spot up shooter. He has clearly worked on his dribble drive. The last two nights, he has put up 24 and 31 and he’s only hit one 3. It’s all been attacking the basket.
He can go both directions and has a great ability to score around the rim.
Frankly, his theee point form looks different than last year and his shot is clearly off right now.

Also, it’s been against some tough competition and defenses designed to stop him.

Last year, I didn’t think his defense was great. I thought he was slow side to side. However, I take that back as well. He can move. He’s played good defense the last two games.

Bottom line is he’s a player that can certainly help us. I think he would be a contributor if not freshmen year, sophomore year for sure. He will have to add some muscle up top.

He’s listed as 6’6”, but I’m 6’4” and we are pretty close in height.

I asked some people associated with Chaminade how it looks for Mizzou. They said we are definitely “in the mix”, but that it doesn’t appear that he is a top priority right now. He also mentioned that Illinois was on him pretty hard...

He plays tonight at 7:30 against a damn good Alton team. It’s at Belleville East. Come say hello to the ugly guy with the microphone... that’s me.
