Seems like a good time for my quarterly participation on the boards. Absolutely stoked to land Nwaneri today and getting more juiced for Aug 31 every day. Admittedly, I have been pretty pessimistic about Drink and the football program of late, especially after the roller coaster of emotions last season. Dennis swept in at one of our lowest moments and gave us a very exciting season that we know we can build on - perhaps that distracted me a bit too much from what this football program is capable of. From my view, it's reasonable to expect some results in this league after a coach gets a couple years under his belt. But after a few months of seeing the huge momentum Drink and staff have gained on the recruiting trail, I can feel myself getting dragged in again. This defense is already special, and just looking better on the future outlook by the day. Who knows what the QB situation will look like, but it's not like we need elite play there to really compete. Ride with Brady until you can't anymore. This really does feel like an SEC East dark horse and I'm looking forward to getting off to a hot start. And who knows, maybe I'll have written Drink off again by October and pleading with Dennis for a deep March run.
