….but arent the analytics more relevant in pro sports where all teams are playing within a set of rules ? same schedules..theoretically very similar talent throughout the league? in college where you have 300+ teams arent those skewed by conference/scheduled competition? …a team playing 20 games versus top teams will look a lot worse analytically than a team playing 20 games versus 200 level teams…i am no mathematician so i just dont quite get the fascination with it in college sports.
