I did something random here as I took Jarod Hamilton’s game-by-game report cards, applied a numerical value to his grades, and averaged them out over the 6 games.
The numerical value is based on a scale of B+ is 89, B is 85, B- is 80, for example.
Here’s where the grades stand:
QB: 75.0% (C)
RB: 82.3% (B-)
WR: 78.8% (C+)
TE: 74.6% (C)
OL: 67.2% (D+)
DL: 82.5% (B-/B)
LB: 86.3% (B)
DB: 87.3% (B+)
ST: 74.0% (C)
Coaches: 78.2% (C+)
Not a ton to disagree with there. Offense might be a bit inflated in places but overall I’d say it’s about a C-. It’s not completely inept but it’s not good. I do think a B grade QB would solve a lot of our issues.
The defense has been strong all throughout and very fun to watch. We know what this team’s identity is.
What would your position group grades be so far? I’m guessing less favorable on the offensive side.
