Shortly into the second half Mike Kelly, when he and Richards were discussing secondary depth, let us know his opinion on the opts out. Here is how the conversation, I can't remember it verbatim.
Richards: a lot of guys opted out that would now be playing.
Kelly: they got beat out and then quit on their team.
