Bringing up that topic everyone loves to discuss... former Mo high school kids Mizzou recruited that went elsewhere. I'm not mentioning all, but I'm including folks that were highly regarded here at one point. Also, not including guys who are done with football, transferred done, etc.
1. This isn't a bash on kids who went elsewhere... just observations.
2. After checking kids out from the last 5 classes one thing is apparent.... few kids Mizzou wanted are making an impact on the offensive side of the ball. DL recruits are having the biggest impact. All these high profile WRs are making the splash many thought they would. One has to wonder how they'd be doing at Mizzou.
Please, add to this list. Note, I didn't include ESTL or KCk kids. Just in Mo.
2015 (RS Sr.)
Davis Twins, DL, Nubs. Both starting DL. Biggest blow of class.
Alec Murphy, RB, MS State (not much)
John Moten, RB, NW. Has had a few decent games
Kyle Markway, TE, USCe (not much)
Charlie Heck, Ath NC, Mo didnt offer. Stated RT last year and again this year.
2016 (Sr or RS Jr.)
AJ Taylor, WR, Wisconsin. Good season last couple years. Fairly quiet this far.
Skyler Thompson, QB, K-State. Has been decent as their starter this year and last year. Would be interesting to see him under another offense.
Rod Campbell, CB, NW. Not much.
Chase Allen, TE, Iowa State. Not much.
Lamar Anderson, Ath, Ball State. Started career nicely, but hasn't done much last year.
Dylan Powell, OL, Stanford. Has started some at Center.
Boe Wilson, OG, Nubs. Starter, good player.
2017 (Jr or RS So)
Marquis Hayes, OG, ou. Starter at LG this year, but slowed by injuries now.
Jaevon Mcquitty, WR, Nubs. Not much.
Andrew Clair, RB, Bowling Green. Not highly recruited, but has done well at BG.
Tony Adams, S, shittyville. Starting S.
2018 (Sophomore or RsFr.)
Ronnie Perkins, DE, ou. Great true fr campaign last year. Big part of DL in 19.
Trevor Trout, DT, USC. Down on depth chart a ways, but has battled injury this year.
Michael Thompson, DL, ou. Switched to OL. Injury issues. Said to see the field this year plenty.
Kamryn Babb, WR osu. Injured last year. Nothing this year.
Cam Brown, WR, osu. Played both CB and WR thus far. Not much though.
Dallas Craddieth, S, Iowa. Expected to be part of the 2 deep all season.
Daniel Carson, DL, texas. Moved inside to DT. Played some this year.
Hassan Haskins, RB, Michigan. Rushed a few times this year.
Mario Goodrich, CB, Clemson. Played fair amount as fresh, will play a lot this year.
2019 (true freshmen)
Several have played, but none with a lot yet.
Kyren Williams (ND), Nate Peat (Stanford) , Desmond Hutson (Iowa) all with stats on offensive. Brett Gabbert appears to be starting at Miami (OH).
Has anyone watched many of these kids? Any STL coaches, etc. who can weigh in on some of these OL and defensive players with limited stats?
