I'll be providing updates on the Tigers' game at rival Missouri State this evening on this thread. Tyler LaPlante (4-1, 1.50 ERA) will take the mound for another midweek game and he'll face Austin Knight of the Bears. Missouri (23-9) is looking to bounce back and pry back into the rankings after losing its series against Alabama last weekend.
This game was originally supposed to be game two between the rivals, but the first, which was to be played on the 3rd at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, was canceled due to weather. So this will be the first time these teams have seen each other. Mizzou went 0-2 against the Bears a season ago.
