SC is 109th in allowing tackles for loss. MIZ is 128th

Getting tackles for loss, MIZ is 30th while SC is 112th. Lets hope we take advantage of this and avoid Tackles for loss especially on 1st down. Of course, Vandy was 100th in getting tackles for loss before playing us and came out of the game 58th. That is not a good sign.

Surprised by the 3rd down conversion rates. USCe 40% and MIZ at 39%. Believe it or not the MIZ offense has improved this stat significantly the last three games to get to 39%. But so has USCe. They have been 50% the last three games.

USCe is scoring 33 points per game against FBS teams. MIZ is at 24. Power 5 only USC is at 22.75 PPG. MIZ is at 16.4 PPG. I hear alot about USCe not being able to score. Pot meet Kettle.

USCe beat Kentucky 24-14. Kentucky was without their starting QB and the backup played horribly with a QB rating of 38. But that matchup is similar to US as Kentucky on paper has a better defense than we do and a similar offense without their starter. Lets hope this is not a mirror image game.

keys to game

Win the turnover battle
Both teams are in the bottom of the Turnover margin at -5 and -6. Both QBs are subject to turnovers when under pressure.

Do not give up big plays on special teams. USC has the best SRV or Special teams return value in the country. It is the main reason they are 5-2.

The primary receivers must get open as Cook has not shown he can get through the first read. The center has to call the right blocking and adjustments at the line to avoid negative yardage plays.
