Have learned that Portland State wide receiver Davis Koetter is transferring to Missouri. If the name sounds familiar to Mizzou fans, it should. Koetter is the son of former Tiger assistant and current Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.
In 2019, Koetter caught 38 passes for 626 yards and eight touchdowns for the Vikings. He caught four passes for 121 yards in 2018 as a freshman. Portland State is an FCS program and did not play football this fall. The Vikings will compete in the spring, but Koetter entered the transfer portal in October.
Currently, Koetter will not be on scholarship immediately, but could earn one based on his performance and Missouri's scholarship numbers. He redshirted in 2017, so should come to Mizzou with two years to play two beginning next fall.
