Mizzou announces return of Brad Loos

COLUMBIA, Mo.Brad Loos is returning to the University of Missouri Department of Athletics to serve as Senior Associate Athletics Director of Development for the Tiger Scholarship Fund, Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch announced Tuesday. Loos, who previously served as a Mizzou men’s basketball assistant coach from 2014-2017 and later as a development officer with the Tiger Scholarship Fund from 2017-2023, has a proven track record of fostering strong relationships and driving significant support for athletics programs. His previous tenure saw the successful execution of numerous initiatives that bolstered Mizzou Athletics' competitive edge.

Loos spent the last year at the University of Memphis, where he served as Senior Associate Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer.

As Mizzou’s Senior Associate AD of Development, Loos will focus on leading a team that will generate philanthropic support for Mizzou Athletics' initiatives. His expertise and dedication will be instrumental in advancing fundraising efforts, ensuring the continued success and growth of all Mizzou programs.

"Brad's return to Mizzou marks a significant step forward in our mission to elevate Mizzou Athletics," Veatch said. "His passion for Mizzou is apparent, and his proven ability to cultivate strong donor relationships makes him an invaluable asset to our team. Prior to his coaching years at Mizzou, Loos served as an assistant coach at University of Central Missouri for 12 seasons, including the program’s 2014 Division II National Championship season. A native of Clarksville, Tennessee, Loos played college basketball at Austin Peay State University for his father, longtime Governors coach Dave Loos. Brad was a four-time Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll member and three-time APSU basketball scholar-athlete.

Loos and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, son Brady and daughters, Rhyan and Charli.
