-Gates said he thought the game got away from them when Khalif Battle got hot. He said they weren't able to score in the paint in the second half as they were doing in the first. Also let Arkansas find its rhythm from outside in the second half.

-Gates said he thought that Nick Honor shot the ball from 3 well but that he wants to see Nick contribute a little more than he did today.

-Sean East said his teammates have trusted him with the ball since he returned from injury. He said defenders either have to stick to guys spotting up or commit to helping when East drives. He took advantage of that today.

-Gates said having Caleb Grill and John Tonje healthy would allow them to throw out different looks defensively. Without them, their lack of depth at the guard spots hurt them today with all the foul trouble they had.

-Gates said that he's seen defenses lock in on Tamar Bates a little more than usual, which is why he thinks his shot attempts and percentages have gone down lately. He said the team needed a 4th scorer, and that Noah Carter wasn't able to do that for them.

-East said they needed to go to another level in the second half and weren't able to get there. Said they've got to dig deeper in these last few games.

-Gates said their spirits are still high. Said they're still going to play hard and give their best. He said they weren't counting how long their winning streaks last year and they're not going to start counting how long the losing streak is this year. The focus is onto the next one.
