Columbia, Mo. – Fresh off its largest win over a ranked opponent in 12 years, the Missouri men’s basketball team has sold out its SEC opener versus Kentucky, announced on Saturday.

A second-straight capacity crowd at Mizzou Arena marks the first time MU has sold out back-to-back games since the 2017-18 campaign. While no tickets remain for the 11-1 Tigers’ conference opener on Dec. 28, there are still seats left for the remaining nine contests at Mizzou Arena this season – eight SEC matchups in addition to a SEC/Big 12 Challenge contest against Iowa State Jan. 28.

Mizzou is coming off a 93-71 victory over Braggin’ Rights rival Illinois on Thursday – marking the Tigers’ largest win in the series and the team’s biggest victory over a ranked foe since November 2011. Overall, Mizzou enters SEC play with an 11-1 record – tied for the best mark among conference schools.
