Missouri lost a second staffer in as many days. Spending one season as the assistant director of basketball operations for the Tigers, Nick Korta accepted a position as an assistant coach for VMI, the program announced Thursday. Korta earned his bachelor's degree from Cleveland State, where he was a graduate assistant under current Missouri head coach Dennis Gates. He was also a graduate assistant under former Florida State head coach Leonard Hamilton during the 2020-21 season.

VMI associate head coach Xavier Silas previously served as an analyst at Missouri under Gates. Former Tigers player development coordinator Perin Foote was a VMI assistant this past season, but he's currently not listed on staff.
