-Gates said they are not only facing themselves this week but also facing a team that's lost three games in a row in Ole Miss. He says it speaks to the depth of the conference that Ole Miss is a team that's on the NCAA tournament bubble.

-Gates said every team goes through every team goes through injuries and that they have to continue to navigate theirs. Said again that they have to be participants in their own rescue. Said he has to be someone that brings energy to the team, rather than take it away. Said Sean East II is progressing but they want to see how his body responds over the next three days. Gates said Caleb Grill's been having setbacks where he'll have swelling or pain in his wrist, he hasn't completed a full practice yet. Said Trent Pierce is still dealing with his ear infection and is doing non-contact things. They're trying to figure out if he'll need a procedure or not. Said JCM will be available.

-Also said Dickey Nutt had his first dose of chemotherapy. He's staying with his brother, Houston, right now. Said he'll be back in town at the end of the month for his second round of chemo.

-Gates said what stands out about Ole Miss is what's on the line. Said the Rebels are gonna be desperate trying to keep their March Madness hopes alive.

-Mabor Majak said he'd spoken to his dad just before the Texas A&M game. His dad told him before the game "You're doing good, but you need to get a dunk to hype everybody up." Said he was looking for it against the Aggies, leading to that monster putback.

-Majak said Ole Miss' bigs run the floor well. He said it's gonna be a scrap and Mizzou needs to come in fighting.

-Majak said having this week off was needed. Said they'll hopefully be refreshed this weekend.
