The thread about most hated player in the SEC got me thinking.... which Mizzou players were most hated by opposing fans?
In basketball, Jason Southerland sticks out... Mizzou fans loved his scrappiness, but opposing fans thought he was a "dirty player".
I can't really think of a Mizzou football player... at least one who rose to the level of a Ndomukong Suh or Vontaze Burfict as far as having a rep for "dirty play.". I remember Jason Simpson, a safety in the early Pinkel years came to Mizzou with some notoriety for allegedly cheap-shoting a kid during a Texas high school all-start game... but I don't remember him being hated by opposing fans. I suppose some opposing fans might have hated Chase Daniel because he was successful.
