Keys to tonight's game are pretty simple:

1. Shoot the basketball well. Mizzou ranks 13th nationally in effective field goal percentage (all shots; weighted). UCF ranks 331st. Mizzou has been good, if not great at putting the ball in the hole effectively (at least, when they actually shoot it; see below), UCF has been ungodly bad. This needs to continue.

2. On the flip side, Mizzou ranks 47th in efg% defense. Not great, but decent. UCF ranks 26th. They have the advantage here, but it's not a huge gap

Flat out, if Mizzou shoots it anything close to what they did in Orlando, and UCF continues with their woes, this won't be close. Now, I find it unlikely that it happens, as this is a road game...

3. Turnovers. After facing a top 10 turnover creating defense in SJU and the best in the country in WVU, Mizzou gets a break here. UCF ranks 168th in turnover creation. Smack dab in average land. That's a good thing for Mizzou as we're sitting 291st in offensive turnover rate, which is putrid. On the other end of the court, Mizzou is equally poor at turning opponents over, ranking 242nd in that category. However, UCF likes to turn it over a lot as well...sporting a 331st national rating...even worse than Mizzou. If the tigers can break even, or dare I say, win, the turnover battle...that's a big thing.

4. For their height, UCF isn't a particularly great team, ranking 102nd on the offensive glass and 206th on the defensive glass. Mizzou has been quite good on the offensive end ranking 23rd, and an adequate 88th on the defensive end. Mizzou needs to own the glass on their misses. UCF gives up second chances, Mizzou is great at getting second chances...that's a big key.

5. Finally, fouls. Both teams are adept at drawing fouls. Mizzou ranks 16th in ft attempted for every fga attempted. UCF ranks 1st. Mizzou ranks 41st in points from free throws, UCF ranks 2nd. However, UCF fouls a lot less often than Mizzou. Ranking 9th. Our team will have to be disciplined and not rack up silly fouls. This is UCF's best way to score although they're only shooting 65% from the line.

Cliffs:
1. Shoot the ball better than UCF
2. break even on turnover battle
3. Own the offensive glass
4. break even on free throws
5. Get this ugly fvcking streak off the board.
